Guild in GW2

All you need to know about guilds. Being in a guild is epic...and you can be in multiple!

I told you guilds were epic in GW2 xD especially getting those points to buy guild upgrades... can't wait to make that happen x3

waaaiiiittt... I forgot to mention you can join multiple guilds, didn't I?

Watched the Vid seems pretty epic, buut I think joining one guild will be fun as above all I'm a social player, so I hang out with people and generally do anything (PvP, PvE oh and did I mention i play a lot? )

and just so you know, not all skills are in that skill editor... there were at least 7 elite skills, not 3 for elementalist ^_^

The 4 you are missing were racials my friend...

I've seen so many possibilities =3 That I just don't know what to do anymore, To my mind look like awesome combo's:

Mainhand - Offhand
Main bar: Hammer
Secondary Bar: Rifle

Mainhand - Offhand
Main bar: Axe - Sword
Secondary Bar: Rifle

Mainhand - Offhand
Main bar: Sword - Sword
Secondary Bar: Rifle

Mainhand - Offhand
Main bar: Sword - Axe
Secondary Bar: Rifle

Mainhand - Offhand
Main bar: Axe - Axe
Secondary Bar: Rifle

These are all PvP btw, and then with a hammer I would go defense and the one above, besides I dunno wether any of you guys checked out the signets, but I'm like I want the signets and none of the other skills -> Passive buff + Ability, and then take Shrug off in Defense tree, so when they think they've nearly got you you don't take any damage =D

But I mean so many good combo's will be possible that I will need to go just play and fiddle with it

just so you know, the passive buffs are only active when you actually equip the signet on your skill bar xD

I know, But I'm like I want all the signets on skill bar and none of the other skills XD

mwuehehe, skill god in GW2 forces you to choose between *drums* 3 signets! (and if there is an elite one 4 but I don't know if there is xD)

My Warrior Set:
Main set: Axe - Axe
Off set: Hammer

Traits:
20 - Strength (Axe Mastery + Weapon Specialization)
10 - Arms (Sweeping Strikes)
10 - Defense (Shrug it off)
10 - Tactics (Inspiring Battle Standard)
20 - Discipline (Signet Mastery + Sharpenend Axes)

Abilities:

Heal:
Healing Signet (Heals and grants Adrenaline)
Physical Utilities:
Stomp (Launch Foes into the air)
Shout: ''I will Avenge you'' (Grants Might, Regeneration and Swiftness)
Banner of Defense (Grants Toughness and Vitality)
Elite:
Signet of Rage

ohoh, that looks nice the game just needs to be out ALREADY!?!?! I wanna play my lovely elementalist T_T

My shout also rally's allies when I kill some1, however what is rallying exactly? :O

if you rally someone, then the person was downed (as in hp reached 0 first time) and then is back to normal state again which means, extremely useful =D

but still not sure xD might just as well go dagger/dagger... too bad eles dont have that weapon switch option like all the other classes... though, I do understand =D otherwise they'd be too overpowered xD

Basically you've got 4 weapon swaps available and we've got only 2 =3

This is most likely the one, doubting maybe I'll take the one making shouts heal, haven't decided yet :\ Besides during a PvP scene I could swap traits anyhow as long as I've learned them! =D

humma? switch traits during fights? only thing you can swap are your weapon skills in the middle of a fight, using change weapon O.O or did I miss something again due to my perpetual disinterest in all the other classes? xD


(and yes I knew, thats why I posted it? O..o)

And I revised my build for now... though it is quite PvE oriented... xD (I figured having 5 traits in every element would give a nice boost, giving all those yummy effects with the different atunements ^_^)

I don't get it, im saying you have 4 weapon swap because you have 4 elements, and we;ve got 2 weapon swaps cuz we apparently carry 2 sets of gear around, but I never said about in combat trait swapping as that would be a bit difficult (trust me you will die) and as long as your out of combat and you've learned them, then you can swap

ok, sorry, misunderstood that, (during a pvp scene sounds like you are fighting, lol) but since when can you swap traits? only thing I know is that you have all traits active at one time, meaning you can put anyway you like, get any trait bonuses you like and they are active at all times, given the right conditions. and the stats the traits give are always active too...

so what do you mean by switching traits? As far as I know no such thing is possible O.O unless they plan to give you two sets of traits, like they do with talents in WoW

and on a side note, everyone who pre orders the premium/collectors edition gets a nifty tome of influence, which gives influence to your guild when used, so my idea was that at least all of us who order that edition use that tome for our guild? =D

No I take axe mastery right? So maybe I want the one that when I jump down I do dmg, so I sit there and swap my trait to that one, jump down, run back into the castle and swap my trait to the one I use for normal combat. That's possible as far as I know

Response to sidenote: No i'll start another guild which I'll use it on,,,, dûh! XD No max that makes sense Im seriously doubting now, because I want a hard copy, and only way seems to be collectors edition XD

or order it at bart smit? If youre quick they might still send it today xD

Most likely that, but also you know when you click the hexagon, you can choose like 10 things, you can swap those out of combat I believe.. :\

the game will be sent from on today, you cant play it yet though, though you can access the betas my copy will be delivered tomorrow for example, between 12.00 to 14.00pm ^_^ and I better hope they give it to neighbours... no ones home at that time!?!?! >

and no the major traits cant be switched out... you pick one when you get to one of the large hexagonal figures and it stays like that untill you reset your traits (thats how it went in my experience at least ^_^)

EDIT: heck, I just got the my box with serial code... and an e-mail stating that I will get my collectibles a few days before the real game release... f* that lol

Told you so! Besides I've ordered CE at Bol.com all off a sudden it appeared on their website, they'll only give out 250 copy's, but If you've ordered it then you are sure to recieve it since it will be put off the website once they're out of copy's! =D

Lucky me! Ill probably recieve my serial code and stuff in a few days and then get the collectibles etc. round when the game comes out. =D

yay now NCsoft, give us the e-mail with the beta info already ;D
